On December 23-2021, PSW Power & Automation announced the acquisition of Trans Construction AS. The acquisition is planned to be closed end of January 2022. At the same time as PSW Power & Automation AS takes over the shares in Trans Construction AS, it is a pleasure to announce that we have been awarded a contract from Siemens Energy AS to deliver an E-House module to be used for Direct Electric Heating (DEH) of an offshore pipeline.
The pipeline between two platforms requires direct electric heating (DEH) hence an E-house module, containing all the technical solutions required, is now being built. Our delivery includes a complete E-House module (approx. 120MT) with integrated high-voltage room, local Equipment Room (LER), HVAC, Seawater cooling system and fire protection.
The module is designed and certified for installation offshore and includes complete structural design, electrotechnical installation and integration of the Siemens Energy DEH system. The module also incorporates an integrated Laydown deck.
The order was placed in the beginning of December 2021. Prior to the award both PSW Power & Automation and Trans Construction participated in the “Pre-feed” and “Feed” phases of the project. The assembly and testing of the module will be carried out in PSW Power & Automation’s facilities at Ågotnes.
