PSW Power & Automation has signed a contract with Enhanced Drilling for delivery of a power system to be used in their Sangomar project in Senegal. Due to challenging downhole pressure regimes, some development wells require the use of advanced technology to drill. Woodside Energy, Australia`s largest independent oil and gas company, chose Enhanced Drilling and EC-Drill® System to make it easier and safer to drill these wells.
Our contract with Enhanced Drilling includes delivery of a complete frequency converter system and additional high voltage rig supply transformers. The system is designed as pressurized container modules and certified according to ABS and IECEx regulations suitable for hazardous aera (offshore). The production has already started and delivery will be Q1 2022.
