Port of Trondheim is expanding its shore power supply. PSW Power & Automation recently handed over a shore power solution with a total capacity of 5MVA to Port of Trondheim.
With this capacity, two large passenger ships can be 100% operational during the stay in Trondheim Havn IKS
An example of a vessel which is to connect the shore power system is Hurtigruteskipet “Nordkapp”. The vessel weighs 11.386 tons and has a capacity of 590 passengers. “Nordkapp” has all facilities available when at shore and by connecting to shore power the environment will be saved for large CO2 emissions.
The delivery from PSW Power & Automation is a turnkey contract and includes a complete power system with integrated control system, cable management system and electrical infra-structure on site.
