Hafnarfjordur Harbor on Iceland shall establish shore power solutions on several locations and has chosen PSW Power & Automation as their partner for the project. Hafnarfjordur harbor is an important fishing, cargo and cruise harbor for Iceland, and we are proud to be part of their green development.
The shore power system PSW Power & Automation shall deliver includes 11kV substations, converter system and cable management system enabling shore power supply on four different quay locations.
The system will provide a wide range of vessels with shore power such as container vessels, major fishing vessels and small cruise vessels. Early next year Hafnarfjordur can offer their visitors a more sustainable harbor.
