PSW nominated for the Handlekraft Award 2026

The Handlekraft Award is presented at the annual Vestland Conference at Grieghallen and celebrates inspiring companies from Western Norway that have taken important steps in the green transition. Previous winners include Framo (Askøy), Spilka (Ålesund), and NorDan (Moi).

“Being nominated for the Handlekraft Award means a great deal to us. It provides recognition for all the people who have worked hard over the past ten years to develop products and technology,” says Eirik Sørensen, Managing Director of PSW Power & Automation.

PSW delivers technology-driven solutions for the global energy transition. The ambition is to create robust, cost-effective energy systems that can scale according to demand.

“We have chosen to work where we can achieve the greatest impact. Efficient energy systems are among the most important contributions we can make to the green transition,” says Sørensen.

The three candidates for the Handlekraft Award have been nominated by the Stavanger Region Business Association, Vest Næringsråd, and the Ålesund Region Business Association:

  • Årdal Aqua
  • PSW Power & Automation
  • Bauta Group

“We award the Handlekraft Award because we want to highlight inspiring success stories from the business community in Western Norway. The three finalists are companies that have demonstrated an ability to create new, green products and services,” says Frode Nergaard Fjeldstad, Director of Grants at Agenda Vestlandet.

He continues:
“The nominees for the Handlekraft Award represent the very best of the business community in Western Norway. We hope many people will find inspiration in them!”

It is now up to the public to select a winner. Last year, more than 5,000 votes were cast.

The winner will be announced at the Vestland Conference on 10 February.
