PSW Power & Automation has signed a contract with Trollhättan Energi to deliver three Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a total capacity of 11.3MWh, installed on three different locations in Sweden. The solution will be used for the Nordic balancing market and the new upcoming local flexibility markets for energy storage. The company has also secured a 5-year maintenance contract of the systems.
“We have secured several contracts during 2023/24 with well-established energy companies in Sweden. It’s part of our strategy to build a robust customer base within the Energy Storage segment going forward, and this contract with Trollhättan Energi is therefore of great importance”, says Eirik Sørensen, Managing Director of PSW Power & Automation.
PSW Power & Automation currently has a project portfolio exceeding 85MWh within Battery Storage Systems, demonstrating a significant role in the Nordic energy transition.
The project will start immediately, and delivery will take place in Q3-2025.
