We recently delivered a complete power system to KCAD/RDS, a project initiated by Equinor, for the Askepott electrification, enabling zero emissions drilling operations. The system allows the Cat J Jack-up rig to receive power from shore through the fixed platform Martin Linge.
We have provided a solution by using our cutting-edge technology within power conversion and control.
A 6MW static converter system was designed, produced, and installed onboard Askepott in just nine months, including the DNV approval process—a record-breaking timeframe for such a project.
This achievement highlights the effectiveness of strong collaboration between companies in driving efficient projects.
