Power & Automation and Trans Construction (ATC) have secured a new contract for the design, manufacture, and preassembly of a major e-house module for an Oil & Gas customer. The e-house module will be a part of an offshore development project on the UK sector. This is the companies’ fourth e-house contract so far this year.
This is a substantial contract for the company and has a value of more than NOK 50 million. The project will start immediately with delivery Q2 2024.
“One of the primary benefits by using e-house modules in offshore development projects, is their modular design and customizable features. The modules are preassembled in a controlled environment, transported to the projects site, and connected to the platform`s power system. The module is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions,” says Eirik Sørensen, Managing Director in PSW Power & Automation.
“We are really starting to see the synergies from the strong developed alliance between PSW Power & Automation and Trans Construction. After the acquisition of Trans Construction in February 2022, the companies have established a substantial order backlog and taken a solid position in a growing market.”
