We have signed another contract for the supply of a 3.5 MWh Battery Energy Storage Solution (BESS) project in the Nordics. The delivery includes the design and commissioning of a BESS system and an innovative control technology that helps stabilize the frequency in the Nordic grid and control solar energy production at the same time.
The project will start immediately, and delivery will take place in Q2-2025.
Integration of renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, into the grid has increased dramatically in recent years.
Grid-scale battery storage systems will play a crucial role in stabilizing the electrical grid by balancing supply and demand, managing fluctuations in renewable energy generation, and providing backup power during peak demand periods or grid outages.
